Cleaning Costs vs. Fuel Costs
With gas prices rocketing (as I am sure they are everywhere else too!) I wanted to save on our fuel costs. Researching online, I saw that cleaning the hull made a pretty remarkable difference in the amount of fuel a boat of our size would use... and boy, was I right!
After scrubbing our hull, our boat went through almost half as much gas and felt more nimble in the water. We came out ahead of the cost of the cleaning with the savings at the gas dock all summer.
